The colorful and wide-opening Zola Pen Case might be my favorite Sew Can She pencil pouch to date. These are so great for easily finding the desired item. Anything that saves time (even if it’s only a second) is valuable to me. Not to mention they turned out gorgeous.

Whoever thought of putting grommets on a pencil pouch so it could live in your binder was a genius! Here’s my functional and colorful take: The 3 Ring Pencil Pouch.

Instead of grommets this 3 Ring Pencil Pouch uses loops made from fabric to secure it inside your binder. No special tools or notions required.

If you need a see-through pouch, here’s a versatile option. The Ribbon and Vinyl Zipper Pouch is easily customized by making a bigger ribbon loop to fit your wrist, or adding a clip or key ring.

Another free pattern that is great for vinyl is what I call the Clippie Zippies. Clip them on your bag so your necessities don’t fall down to the bottom. Save some time by not having to hunt for them!

I’ve been sewing clothes and costumes for many years, but have never made small things. So this is new territory for me. What I love most about your patterns (besides the easy patterns) is your saying that we can make just about anything from whatever we have around the house. I know it would be nice to make the items from the fabric you suggest, but nowadays, it’s more difficult to get to the store for fabric and zippers and whatnot. Just being assured of using whatever is a big boost. Thank you.
