I simply love the way this Baby Heart Log Cabin Quilt turned out. The fabrics are chic and modern. Giving this one will be a nod to the stylish sensibilities of the recipient, and an eye for trends of the sewist.
Sometimes the best Valentine’s are subtle. If yours loves photography, the Say Cheese Quilt would be perfect, with it’s subtle hearts for the picture taking hobbyist in your life.
My On Point Heart Block is a great option if you are looking to sew up something with hearts. Even if it’s not for Valentine’s Day, this will be the beginning of something special.
Let’s branch out a little from the quilts above to Amanda’s Liberty Hexi Heart Pillow. This free tutorial at Diary of a Quilter will be a heartily-loved addition to your toss pillow collection. Heartily, get it? 😉
Another great way to spread some love is with a sweet heart garland like the Hearts a Flutter DIY Valentines Day Garland made by Virginia at Gingercake.
For the kitchen, try making a Here’s My Heart Potholder. If I had a lot of these I would use them as trivets for a meal with all the people I love. They also make darling gifts.
Laura over at Kittens and Threads created another cute addition to your table. Laura’s Lovely Table Topper brings the love without being solely for Valentine’s Day, thanks to an unexpected color palette.
My Pretty Box Pouch works for Valentine’s Day because of it’s charming ditsy print and it’s a charming gift. The piping can hide imperfect corners and it has a million and one uses.
Speaking of florals, everyone likes flowers on Valentine’s Day. But you don’t have to grow them if you’d rather sew them! The Firecracker Flower Applique is perfect for a quilt, pillow, tote, or whatever!
Here’s some more romantic roses that will brighten your day, on the DIY Big Beautiful Bag. The beautiful rose fabric is from Anna Griffin.
Last but not least, I’ll share the 1 Yard Magic Hobo Bag with it’s pretty floral. Easy, only 1 yard of fabric, and makes a great gift.

The table topper link is dead or incorrect.
Go to Kittens and Thread and you will find the pattern of the table topper.
No luck finding Laura @ Kittens and Thread (or Threads), either, except Instagram to which I’m not signed up. :((
