Free Little Fox Applique Pattern
My kids are crazy about foxes right now. All due to a certain YouTube video that my sister decided to show them. Now they each sing their own version of ‘what does the fox say’ most of the day long. Cadie sings ‘wake up the fox, now’ (she can’t read the subtitles).
The drawing for this fox was inspired by my love of folk tales and some time I spent living in Russia before I got married. While I was there I purchased a few vintage children’s picture books from book markets and brought them home with me. My kids love to look at them and I paraphrase the stories for them.
This free Little Fox Applique Pattern will be cute on so many things. Now I also have a mini version of this applique pattern too.
The applique pattern that I drew has pieces for the eyes and nose, but I decided to embroider them on instead.
It fits on a regular sheet of paper and is the perfect size for a pillow, tee-shirt or quilt block. Or you could reduce the size for a small zipper pouch or purse.
