I made some baby bibs!

My sister had a baby… welcome Charlotte Marie! I looked at the baby items on our ‘Kid Love’ page and settled on making some of Clover and Violet’s baby bibs.

This tutorial is perfect for scrapbusting… both fabrics and trims. Since the bibs are pretty small (baby size), you can use your favorite small scraps.

Jennie’s tutorial gives the easist way to make these, in my opinion. You cut the front of the bib shape out of one fabric or a patchwork piece, and then (after embellishing), you sew the front to a rectangle of backing fabric and trim away the extra. Makes sewing little things so simple!

UPDATE: More recently, I shared how to make an adorable patchwork bib and burp cloth set perfect for a new mamma! See more of my things to sew for kids below.
