Sewing a diaper clutch with adorable fabric from Cori Dantini

I used the Big Pocket Diaper Clutch pattern again! This pattern is so easy and fast to make, plus it makes the best new mom gift.

Don’t you just love new babies? Last night I got the chance to take dinner over to a friend who just had her second child and I got to hold that little 5 day old angel. My 5 year old ‘baby’ seemed so big at that moment.

Earlier this week I made her this diaper clutch.

I used fabrics from the Good Company collection by Cori Dantini for Blend Fabrics. I still have more of this fabric so I’m sure you’ll see it in at least one more project. I absolutely adore those woodland animals!

This cute little clutch is big enough to hold a few diapers and wipes… and since she’s breastfeeding hopefully it will be handy for her to throw in her purse instead of lugging around a big diaper bag. See the little fold over elastic wrist strap that I put on it? You might recognize it from my tutorial here.

Happy Sewing!
