Monthly Mini Quilt for February – Eclipse!

Did you know we had a lunar eclipse on January 31st? I’m sure you knew about the total solar eclipse last August (unless you never came out of your sewing room that month, lol!). Well, to mark these historic events of our time, Becky Jorgensen of Patchwork Posse designed the beautiful Eclipse mini quilt for us!

This mini quilt is your chance to play with light and dark fabrics and create eclipsed stars! Can you see it above?

The Eclipse mini quilt is made up of squares, half square triangles, and little flying geese. I learned a new technique for flying geese when making it too!

The Eclipse mini quilt is a tiny version of this big quilt that Becky designed to commemorate last year’s total solar eclipse. Isn’t it gorgeous?
