More Information about Mod Bee – with Class Descriptions!

Since I first told you about being asked to teach a class at the Mod Bee Modern Quilting Conference next month, many of you have asked for more information.

Update: Mod Bee is now over but you can still make the #10 Caddy!

Hepful links:

The Mod Bee is a modern twist on an old fashioned quilting bee…a chance to gather together quilters from across the country into one location to learn, visit, be inspired and enjoy the love of quilting. And, we hope you will join us.

*Access to a private Facebook group where 6 classes will be taught each day during the conference (Making that a total 18 classes!)

*12 PDF Patterns sent to you via email prior to the conference beginning so that you can be prepared to sew along with the classes of your choice

*Automatic entry to win daily prizes during the conference

*Continued access to the videos that will remain posted throughout the remainder of the year.

Besides getting to see me make my #10 Caddy Pattern live from my studio (yippee!), you’ll get to interact with Melissa Mortensen (from the Polka Dot Chair) as she teaches her Star Bright Quilt Pattern (above).

Carina Gardner will teach a class about her Perfect Hexagon Quilt.

And I can’t wait to see Mathew Boudreaux (AKA Mister Domestic) teaching his Tumbling Weaves Quilt Block – I’m a huge fan!

I can’t wait to see you there… and maybe I’ll let you see how big Kirby has gotten! ❤️

  1. Sad that this is on Facebook. I don’t want to have to use that platform.

Thank you for information for each class. I needed that so I can get everything lined up.

I am disappointed that there is so much that is not actual quilts. The non quilt items might be Ok but was expecting quilts.

I hope we can set the FB up two or three days before the start in case there are some glitches with the system.

OK I give up, where is Mod Bee being held? I can’t even find it on their event page

  4. Happy for you. Yoir excitement comes through loudly. Enjoy.
