Sometimes I want to make a quick quilt, but I don’t have a lot of time. Then comes the desperate hunt for a pattern that I can bite off and chew all at once. I hope these free quilt patterns are just what you need.

Half Square Triangle Baby Quilt

This 40.5″ square lap size quilt comes together quickly for a few key reasons. By using my HST Star Quilt Pattern, you can use fat quarters, or even just two fabrics, so there’s no need to run out and try to coordinate lots of prints. Also, the pieces are nice and big so it doesn’t take long to assemble.

The Jumbo Hashtag Quilt finishes at 72″ square. Here is a fun and easy quilt that comes together in no time. You will only need to cut strips and squares to make 18.5″ blocks. If you want to make a larger quilt, it’s easy to add an extra row or two. Fat quarters will make the coordinating of colors easy, or you can use scraps.
