I was chatting with one of my readers the other day who is planning to come to sew:beach, and she had some questions about how to bring her sewing machine on the plane with her. I definitely recommend packing your sewing machine as a carry-on, and not checking it with your other luggage. Last year I made myself an Aeroplane Bag with the pattern from Sew Sweetness and this bag is amazing. It holds a standard size sewing machine with no problem at all.
It’s been a couple months since I first told you about the Inspired LED sewing machine lights. The company (Inspired LED) was putting together a kit and they sent me some to test and giveaway. I love my lights so much and love sewing at night too since the having enough light is never a problem anymore.
Don’t you just love quick little tips? Heaven knows I can’t learn something complicated all at once, but it’s easy to pick up a little thing here and a little there and suddenly I have skills!
