Okay, maybe I’m not unboxing this glamorous sewing machine right this very minute – but my 16 year old son made a video of me opening it up and taking it out, so this moment is immortalized forever!
In the video I tell you a little bit about what led me to buy such an expensive item from an eBay seller in another country – of all things!
Fortunately, the German eBay seller Nahwelt is legitimate and even though it took me nearly 6 painful weeks to get this sewing machine – it finally did come! It was stuck in U.S. Customs for 3 of those weeks. Naehwelt have an online shop too, and I might just order accessories from them (if I can stand to wait, lol).
I was able to embed most of the unboxing video in the video player on this page. It should start automatically.
The entire video includes me unboxing the embroidery unit and hoops.
You can watch it on my YouTube channel here and you’ll hear what I think about what Bernina calls a ‘large’ hoop!
And I’d love for you to tell me – do you use a knee lift on your sewing machine too?
Do you also consider it a ‘must have’ or do you think its just an annoying feature that makes a sewing machine more expensive? Tell me in the comments, I’m so curious!
Thanks for watching my videos. You are the best readers ever!
