Once you find a magazine that fits your tastes it’s just delicious. Like receiving your favorite dessert in the mail every month, only its a new version of your favorite dessert made with yummy new ingredients and flavors. {Have I been taste testing the Thanksgiving treats too much today?}

Well, that’s how I feel about this new magazine from the makers of Mollie Makes and Simply Crochet (two other delicious magazines from overseas). The projects, the fabrics, the designers… all a sweet treat for me to look at and read. Let me give you a peek into issue 2 of Love Patchwork and Quilting:

There’s this modern twist on the log cabin block that you can fussy cut with bold graphic fabrics.

Here’s an adorable stuffed deer project… complete with step by step instructions and full size templates.

In every issue you’ll find a new block of the month… so you can sew a whole quilt if you subscribe. Talk about subscribing… right now there’s this awesome deal going on. You can get 3 issues for just $10 {check it out here}! Or if you live in the U.K. that’s 3 issues for ยฃ5 {the U.K. deal is here}. But I digress. I wasn’t finished yet…

Every issue of Love Patchwork and Quilting also comes with a free gift! This issue comes with a Tula Pink mini-book. Love her! And I love the pixel designs in my mini-book.

I’m trying to tell you everything I love about this magazine, but I’ve left out the tempting articles by some of my other favorite designers (Bari J., Jenny Baker, Allison Harris) and the sneak peeks of new fabrics coming out.

So there you go… that was my honest review. I can’t wait for my next issue to come and the kids to go to bed so I can sit and devour it without interruption. If you love magazines like I do, you have to give this one a try. I mean 3 issues for $10??? Come on. You can find that deal here.

And here’s to lots of calorie-free pre-Thanksgiving taste testing!
