When I was asked to guest post I was super excited because I had recently shred with my blog followers that I wanted to make the Boxed Pouch Tutorial from Terabyte Farm that I found in here in the SewCanShe archives on the crafty little things to sew page. I was in desperate need of a zippered pouch to hold my crochet hooks, small scissors, bits & bobs.

The original tutorial was for a quilted pouch. I had a fabulous piece of flamingo print fabric so I used that instead & lined it with a pink zebra print! I do love things that are bright & funky!!

I still used quilt batting in between the fabrics so that the pouch had a good shape. It also means that the sharp ends of the hooks & scissors are not going to poke through the fabric. I can throw it in my craft bag & not have to worry.

I am going to make a few of these as they would be perfect for make up bags, pencil cases or for other crafty things that I want to be able to throw in my bag.
