When the kids went back to school a couple weeks ago, I started sewing a new quilt! The Fractal Quilt Pattern is free from Fat Quarter Shop and even comes with a step by step video. With all of that help and tips, you can’t go wrong with this one.
The fabric I picked is Wonderland by Katerina Roccella for Art Gallery.
Here is the free Fractal Quilt Pattern.
And here is the awesome video tutorial from Fat Quarter Shop.
See those kite shapes? I cut them out using the Creative Grids Kites Plus Ruler.
Then I stitched them together – all those y-seams were actually pretty easy following Fat Quarter Shop’s video tutorial. Here’s my help. 🙂
Don’t sew this quilt without watching the video, you’ll kick yourself for not catching all those tips and tricks!
Here it is… almost done quilting on the Grace Frame in my bedroom. It’s is the perfect accessory for my Juki T2010-Q.
Now this quilt lives on my painted turquoise chair. It looks pretty amazing there, don’t you think?
