You know I love a good organizer. Here’s a darling mug organizer that a reader made. Joy from Joy’s Jots, Shots & Whatnots sewed it up and It’s awesome. It’s different from my Mug Caddy in ways which I think some people might like. There’s no binding around the top and there are interior pockets. It stays on with ties instead of elastic.
My mug caddy also covers a coffee cup and has pockets all around. If you are scared of the binding, don’t be – I’ll show you how easy it can be! Get the free SewCanShe Mug Caddy Pattern here.
Probably the reason why my mug caddy looks so different from Joy’s is beause I patterned it after my #10 Caddy and Mini Caddies. These cute and sturdy organizers fit over different sizes of cans.

At my daughter Chloe’s high school (can you believe my baby started high school???), the lunch lines are so long that she has been skipping lunch! She’s always starving by the time she gets home because she doesn’t want to carry a big lunch bag as well as her heavy backpack – poor girl!

I’m also in love with the process. If you feel like quilt making is your escape from the world and sitting down to sew for a few hours makes your troubles fade away… this is the quilt for you!

Last weekend a hurricane blew through the state of Florida. Let me tell you something, hurricanes are no fun. So much preparation goes on in the days before (and fear, to be honest). And then if you are lucky enough to be like us and only sustain minor damage – there is still a ton of cleanup that has to be dealt with afterwards. Along with power outages and broken A/C units.

Thank-you Caroline! I’m so honored. I’ve noticed for a long time now that our minds work very much alike. When I have an idea pop in my head, I research to see if someone already has made a tutorial, and you usually have done something close to my idea. I LOVE your blog!
