This year Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Magazine started a Block-of-the-Month series in March — the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Sampler. 48 blocks were picked from ALL issues of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks and reduced to 6” for this special sample quilt pattern.
I’m so excited that my Climbing Squares block was included! It’s a fun combination of zig zags and larger squares that are perfect for fussy-cutting motifs. You’ll find it in Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, Volume 9.
Can you see ‘Climbing Squares’ in the quilts above? I can! 🙂
This sampler quilt pattern is available for purchase here.
Here is the mini-quilt that I sewed for my sister using 4 of the ‘Climbing Squares’ blocks.
And it just so happens that this week marks the middle of the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Sampler Sewalong so they are having a celebration and a giveaway. Visit the Quilty Pleasures Blog to join in!
