It is so easy to do, and so much fun too! I decided to make a video showing you wavy line quilting in action. I was using the walking foot on my sewing machine – it’s a must when quilting in lines.
Before quilting your quilt top, you’ll need to make a quilt sandwich with the backing, batting, and finished quilt top.
I spray basted this one together with wool batting and a nice wide piece of backing fabric. Wool batting gives so much loft and doesn’t crease when folded for long periods of time.

Love the wavy line quilting. Do you start from the middle and work your way out? Also do you always sew in one direction?

I use a 3 for quilting.
