15 Holiday Gnome Patterns: All Free!
One of my great-grandparents came from Sweden (almost catching a ride on the Titanic!) and opened his own bakery. I have been embracing our Scandinavian heritage by decorating with Gnomes! As the years go by I love the playful and mischievous Tomte more and more.
Fun Facts: Tomte is the Swedish name for gnomes, and Nisse is the Norwegian.
These cute good luck charms are perfect for holiday crafting and sewing, but they are appropriate all year long. Get your family involved and make thoughtful gifts for the people in your life. I have included a mixture of gnomes for sewing or just assembling so that everyone can be involved.
Consider using your project scraps to make some matching folded-fabric Scandinavian Star Ornaments! But first, the projects!
