In fact, my instructions show you how to install that zipper without ever sewing over the teeth – so go for a pretty metal zipper and add some bling to your pouch!

Thank you–These would be great christmas presents, andI bet if you made them in denim or some other ‘male’ fabric. these would be prefect for them too!! so many possibilities. I do have a question though–do you have a preference in zippers, metal or nylon??
Hi Susan, This bag does not have a zipper. But in general – I use lots of handbag zippers (YKK size 4.5) and sometimes regular nylon dressmaking zippers. Metal zippers are fun but they are heavy, so the project must be heavy enough to support it (most bags and pouches are). I love invisible zippers but to this point have only used them on dresses. xoxo
