Precut Primer Book Review!

|

I know they say you should never judge a book by its cover, but everyone does it anyway. I totally judged this book by the cover and decided that I NEED to make that  adorable quilt.

When I was planning my little ‘Back to School with Me!’ series of book reviews and giveaways, this was the one book that I wanted so badly that I wrote to Fat Quarter Shop (who published it) and asked them if I could include it. They said yes!

And I LOVE pre-cuts. Here are just a few from my stash. I think my Lecien Modern Basics jelly rolls are just begging to be made into that cover quilt, don’t you?

Since the title of this book, ‘Precut Primer,’ implies a school book, the 12 quilt patterns are labeled by grade. So clever and sweet. By the way, Fat Quarter Shop is also making a kit for the 6th Grade Quilt. I must not be the only one who has fallen in love with it.

I also feel the need to make the 8th Grade Quilt…

And the 11th Grade Quilt. I guess it’s back to quilt school for me!

School has never been so fun.

xoxo,
