My new book Crafty Little Things to Sew is here!!!

Some of you (like me) have been waiting AGES for this and I’m so happy to finally announce that Crafty Little Things to Sew is here!!!!

The idea for this book started when the crafty little things to sew category on my free sewing patterns page was so popular. I was chatting with my sister Beka on the phone (she helps me a lot with SewCanShe) and she pointed out to me that our favorite projects our useful little things we can finish in one or two sittings. Of course – that’s why everyone loves crafty little things to sew!

That led me to think about how awesome it would be to have an actual book full of useful sewing projects like that. Something that you could open up at the sewing machine and have bunches of projects at your fingertips.

And of course the book contains countless diagrams, templates, and patterns. Plus step by step photos for each and every sewing project – just the kind of book I would buy!

Well, dreams like this never come true very quickly. After a very bumpy road that lasted over 3 years, Crafty Little Things to Sew the book came out on Amazon last week!

And the cherry on top for me is that the first two reviews are positive! I’m not naive enough to believe they will all be (people on the internet are often brutal with their opinions), but I am cheering over here and sending hugs to S. MacDonald and Regina Roza for leaving my book raving reviews!

Crafty Little Things to Sew was written and compiled by me with 8 projects that I designed and 12 more from some of my very favorite blogging friends. We’re putting together a blog hop that starts next week so watch for lots of crafty sewing inspiration and 10 chances to win a copy starting Monday!
