Summer Flip Flop Tote – Free Pattern & Embroidery Design!
Use this free tutorial to sew a nice big beach bag with pockets all over. If your sewing machine can do embroidery, embroider flip flops on the pockets for extra charm.
I know, I know… you probably think that I am oblivious to the fact that it is summer because I have been posting so much about Christmas! It is much more likely that I am trying to wish away our 90 degree Florida summer weather, he he.
But I did recently take a trip to the beach with my kids – which was all the more fun for me because I got to take along this new summer tote. It features an adorable flip flop embroidery design that I created for Hatch Embroidery!
I used mostly cotton canvas on this tote, combined with about 1/2 yard of quilting cotton (from Cotton + Steel).
I LOVE the size of it so much. It’s not huge, but just right if your kids are old enough to carry their own beach towels and stuff. And there are 3 exterior pockets! ๐
Grab my free Summer Tote pattern over on the Hatch Embroidery Blog... the flip flop embroidery design is free too when you sign up for a 1 month trial of the Hatch embroidery digitizing software. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
Happy sewing,
