Color Trend 2025: 5 Ways To Add Orange To Your Quilt Pattern

Have you noticed all the ways that orange is trending? You will now; it’s on logos, purses, dresses, and media. Orange is on trend in 2025, so let’s incorporate it into our quilts!

I have found that orange is a versatile color that is filled with warmth and makes me happy. Don’t get me wrong; it’s not my favorite color, but it makes for a beautiful rainbow! Check out these free quilt patterns for inspiration.

I have gotten more compliments on this Pineapple Fruit quilt than almost any other, and several people asked if they could have it. I used scraps of bright colors, and the deepest orange I could find.

I love log cabin quilt blocks! I enjoy putting like colors together and seeing how otherwise unrelated fabric becomes a masterful design. Adding orange to this Scrappy Log Cabin quilt really brightened it up and gave a surprisingly exciting feel to the simple symmetry of this design.

I love the fabric in the Enchanted collection from FreeSpirit. Valorie Wells’ was inspired to create this collection by her trip to Morocco. For my background fabric, I used beautiful Hand Crafted Cotton in Lapis and then I let the fabric bundle do the rest! It’s a fat quarter friendly quilt pattern.
