I got a Grace Frame for my Juki TL2010Q (product review)

I have past the point of quilt with no return. I bought a Grace Frame for my Juki. I didn’t intend to go this far. When I bought the Juki T-2010Q in Feburary, I intended to use it for quilt piecing, garment sewing, bag making, and machine quilting with me sitting at my sewing table. I knew that this sewing machine was sometimes used with a frame, but I didn’t think that would be me.

Pattern Review: Two Zip Hipster from DUMD

You already know that I’m getting ready to go on vacation with my husband (& no kids, yay!) because I recently showed off the bathing suit that I made (#selfishsewing). After that was done I started thinking that I need a small-ish bag that I can carry essentials in besides my usual purse. She blogs over at Diary of A Quilter and I’ve featured several of her tutorials over on the front page of SewCanShe.

Pattern Review and Giveaway: Zakka Workshop

Last month I wrote a review of Yoko Saito’s book New Classic Patchwork. I guess it was obvious how much I loved the book because that same day Lindsay from World Book Media emailed me and asked if I would like to try some of Yoko’s patterns that they have published in a series called ‘Zakka Workshop.’ She said I could offer a giveaway to my readers too!
