This is a great scrappy quilt pattern for using up all your scraps of the same color, or even scraps in two different colors. I first thought that I would use only navy scraps for the dark parts of my stars, but then I added in some lighter purple pieces too. I love how modern and bright it turned out! The finished quilt is 70” x 70”.

The Twirling Blossoms is a scrappy throw quilt. It finishes at approximately 50” x 65”. Its geometric design features half hexagon shapes that are easily cut with a template that is provided in a free PDF. I used small print fabrics in the design above so that I could stick to two colors.

Pro tip: If you have lots of colors in one piece of fabric, look at your cuts from a distance to see what color they “read” (what the main color is). You may be surprised!
